It's been a few weeks since I saw this movie so my memory may be a little hazy. What was going on in the scene when she was crying and screaming under the covers? Was she hiding from something? What was beating her?

I took it as a physical manifestation of her need to feed, taking the form of something akin to a hazing ritual.

I think it was another weird ritual by Veterans, you can see Justine's roommate Adrien already painted in green in that room.

Maybe it's coincidence to her dream and Veterans ritual came in same night. But she was already hungry so everything that night come in right time. What if Veterans didn't do that ritual that night, what could Justine possible do to satisfy her need for meat? Maybe she could have a harsher sex with Adrien which could really end friendship with Justine. That could piss Justine very hard and make her angrier, hungrier and aggressive.
