It was only on 500 screes and had approximately the same per theater average as most of the other films in the top 15 over the weekend...that's not "bombing hard."

But those are not opening weekend per theater averages .
Keeping up with the Joneses had the 10th worst opening of all time with an oppening weekend PTA of $1807
This had an opening weekend per theater average of only $1836 which is absolutely horrendous as well. It would have been extremely hard for this to have done any worse . it performed about as awfully as it could have and for us atheists who abhor blatant exploitation of tragedies I take that as a win because thats what the facts show and I believe in facts

I wanted to go to church after watching this POS and strangle a priest

Thing is last time I went into a church I robbed the collection box and he upstairs watching over us so the religious nutters have us believe, might shoot me a bolt of lightning.

In my defence I was just a kid with empty pockets, but I'm telling you, when I forced that box off the wall it was like winning the lottery. Bought myself a brand new bicycle and some sweeties with the jesus cash.
