An Acquired Taste - Gets Better After the First Round

This six episode dark comedy seemed a little flat for the first few episodes, but takes off quite well after that. Hopefully Amazon will pick up the original series and carry on. Could be quite good.

Took me a bit to figure out what was going on, but once I did I found it a good series. Plot has very little to do with it.

either that, or it numbed you into submission?

was hoping for so much more - love off-beat, etc.

this simply doesn't do it.

I actually had the opposite reaction. I thought the first few episodes were very good, and then it became very uneven. I'd probably watch it if there's a Season 2, but it would be on a short leash. Of course, when you only have six 30 minute episodes to plow through, it's not all that bad. I thought John Rothman was the best, and stole all the scenes he was in.

Ok, I watched the first episode...awful. I then watched the second episode to make sure I was giving it a fair shot. I just don't like it. Good for those who do though.

Well, I gave it the old junior college try, and it pretty much stayed the same. The first episode was decent, as was every subsequent episode in my opinion. I'm glad I gave this a shot, but I'm not yearning for more. 6/10 for each episode and the entire first season from me. At least it was consistently decent.
