The Year this could be set in?

I wonder when about this might be set?
One thing that was said was Yellowstone eruption made much earth uninhabitable and caused other volcano's to blow.
It does not look to futuristic from the buildings though they had pretty good spaceships.
Maybe its set around 100 years from now say in the 2100 to 2150 times?
