But it's pretty ridiculous that Simone(?) wouldn't be wanted for murder(or a person of interest), she disappears the same day he foster father is killed. So how can they become famous without her being investigated?

He survived so I'm sure this will be plot point. Then again, if he tells, he'll be in the jail across the street for rape of a minor. His word against hers but why else would Star have stabbed him except in self defense of herself or her sister????

You're right. But I think he will cover for her and hunt Star down to get his revenge.

It will probably end up he blackmails her for money when the group becomes famous. Then she will turn to doing drugs to deal with all the pressure. That should last them several episodes of drama.
