Is that I don't like any of the three girls. I can't root for them because they're so unlikable.

Loving Latifa though.

Latifah character is more likable than star.

My problem is, Star needs to be hooking up with a black record producer.

Exactly. I can sympathize with Simone (?) because of her abuse and resulting addiction problem, that really isn't enough to make me care enough to watch the show to see what happens. And yeah, Star and Alex, are just plain unlikable. And the music is generic and bad. (The sound editor needs to be fired. Ridiculous how they're supposedly singing in someone's hallway and the sound magically switches to studio (recorded) quality.)

The only things redeemable about the show are watching Bratt and Latifah go at it.

I don't trust people who don't like pets and I don't trust people who pets don't like.
