I hope that the show avoids a whole lot of sex content-- Star is supposed to be what, 18? The sister is 16 I guess, and the rich girl is maybe 20?
I hope the show isn't all about trying to stick them into strip clubs and the like while trying to get a record deal.

I agree. That could be a deal breaker for me. They already made it to easy for Simone to get alcohol at the party.

IMO they should realistically show Star dating/sleeping with black musicians and models to try and fit in and further her career.

shareI'm ok with the sex and drugs, because it is realistic. For me, I have an issue with objectifying the young women in the show. If the sex and drugs is making a point and done in a way that is respectful to the performer, I'm all for it. But I wouldn't want the show to glamorize the behavior or do it without serving a purpose to the larger story.

The show is on FOX which means it is subject US broadcasting rules from the FCC.
Hate-watching says more about the viewer than it does about the show.
