I don't like Star at all.

The more I watch the more I dislike star. Getting to know her she seems like a crappy person and she's a gold digging hoe type of chick. Or at least

Yeah, I don't like her either. Every time she picks on Simone I just want to punch her face in.

A Chorus Line, Dreamgirls, even Fame and Flashdance had some shine in their productions.

When Debby Allen spoke the words, "Fame cost - and right here is where you start paying - in sweat!" you could sense the heat.

Considering it's name, Star is sorely lacking in that element.

No radiance, no glamor, no 'Light up the sky like a flame, Baby remember my name,' moment.

Just a lot of doom and gloom.

Hate-watching says more about the viewer than it does about the show.

I really hate their rehearsal scenes. It's all half-assed wrist twirling and sexy faces. The lip syncing is dreadful, they don't even start doesn't even look like she's enunciating at all ever. I think this show is trying to appeal to the fame hungry youngsters who want to be famous fast. This probably works for them.

Yep another show I watch where I hate the title character.

She tries too hard to be a slut and a bitch and it's annoying.

reply

They wrote her as a bad ass hoe and I think it just makes her annoying. They could've written her as a classier hoe. This character is just childish and needs to mature.

reply

she's seriously ugly (inside and out)... who the hell cast her as the lead? was she the only one who tried out? geez

Do you even go to this school?
No.. I just have a lot of feelings..
Ok go home

Me neither, OP. She's boring, classless, and trashy. I actually liked the elegant vibe and image the group had for that hot second when Alex was the leader. Reminded me of an updated version of "The Supremes" a little bit. She's very sophisticated and talented. I'm tired of this hood-wannabe being shoved down our throats. My fave characters are Simone and Cotton (Amiyah Scott is slaying this role)--the real story and substance is with them, not Star.
