Hello! I'm thinking of suggesting this for a night out with vegan friends. I assume it's respectful of animals. Do you recall if anyone was eating meat in this film?

I'm vegan, so am also hoping there will be nothing upsetting, regarding animals.

What upset me was that she took her dying dog home to linger in pain for three days, rather than euthanizing her. Pure selfishness.

I don't recall any scenes of anyone (or anything) eating at all, meat or otherwise, but in one scene there were a couple of hawks that were checking out some potential prey. And hawks don't eat salad.
