Not that good *spoilers*

The build up of the film in the first half was highly intense, then everything went downhill, it's just random scenes of body horror without any further explanations of why this happening or anything. And come on! Are those supposed to be cops? None of them seem to know how to use a pistol? Let me skip to the ending which was hilariously poor written. How come Arda was the man who gets rammed off the road in the first place? Was the ending supposed to be a thinker? Because it if that's so, it's extremely lame.

I was just telling a friend the first half of the film was amazing, dripping with atmosphere and dread. I was rapt and loving it more than I had most recent horrors. Then as soon as they got downstairs and the guy with half his face covered appeared, it was as if a switch was flipped and it became a completely different movie. Still liked it overall, but the second half really spoiled it. ---It wants no straps. - Karlhttp://www.imdb.com/board/bd0000024/nest/158601447

The director cares less about it making sense or developing characters, than he does about showing you the creepy images he's thought of over the years. It's like someone drew some general horror stuff down and decided to make a whole movie about the things he drew.

There's some general stuff there about ghosts, death, time loops, hell, demons, premonitions, fate, etc. But nothing really comes together in the end for some reason. I believe there was even an interview where the director admitted he wasn't concerned with it making sense and that it probably doesn't.

How was Arda "injured"? He was chained up and everything but I thought he escaped without any injury what-so-ever? When he gets out of the building he's walking all f#cked up like he's got broken bones or something.

Terrible terrible ending.

Ikr? I guess all training goes out the window when dealing with the supernatural. That is what they were dealing with, right?
