not easy to understand by not Polish people

Guys, I watched this movie yesterday and my opinion is that it's brilliant. It's definitely not a horror movie just for those who expect that.
It has very strong and compelling message but only to people who knows Polish history with the background of WWII drama and Jews-Poles co-existence and tragic history on these lands.
I expect that average movie watcher from outside Europe may have very vague knowledge about this and then take this movie as pretentious and with crappy ending.
But it's not.
The questions: why the demon was Jewish in first place?
Why the doctor is saying all these weird things? about grandfather?
Why there was no tomb? Only buried body?

I just finished watching it and I rather enjoyed it as well!

I do feel compelled to brush up on my WWII history of that region, though, as you suggest, and I was hoping to watch 2012's "Aftermath," but Amazon says the title is currently unavailable, although IMDb states otherwise. I know I can do a quick Google search for history, but was wondering if you knew of any other films or docs on the subject that you might suggest? Maybe Aftermath isn't even a pertinent one to watch, I have no idea, but thought it'd be a start...
