Confusing Segement

During the show, a customer comes in the Cookie Jar ready to pick up an order. It was not going to be ready for an hour, and during the wait, she discusses her "surveillance camera" and Hannah realizes she lives across from the Elf Tree Lot. She offers to deliver the cake, and the next minute she comes back from going outside with a surveillance camera which she hooks up to her computer to see what happened the night of the murder.

What I don't understand is how did she get that camera? Did she take it from the customer's residence when she delivered the cake? Or was it given to her?

That was a bit fuzzy - for a moment it was hard to realize she was returning from the delivery at all.
