Loved the "Cocoon" in-joke and cameos

Another dumb, but silly-fun film from Syfy - but have to say I loved the "Cocoon" tribute in the film...

i.e. near the end as Steve Guttenberg is in the hangar talking-up why Florida is the best state to fight against the giant firey spiders - Tahnee Welch and Tyrone Power Jr. (Guttenberg's co-stars from the 1980s' "Cocoon" films in which they play the aliens on a mission in St. Petersburg Tampa) appear from the crowd and she says "And when aliens come to visit which state do they choose? Florida!" and he say "she's just kidding, there are no aliens in Florida" to which Guttenberg replies "well I don't know anything about any aliens!".

Thought this was a fun in-joke and nice touch... along with casting of some of his "Police Academy" series co-stars.
