ALL Dog Attacks in this movie documented for your enjoyment.

I have absolutely no idea why I decided to document every dog appearance in this movie. I am kind of ashamed about this, and I may need some psychiatric help now that I think about it.

Anyways, some of these are just background dog appearances and some of these dogs are identified by name if possible. I have sorted them by order of appearance. I may have the breeds wrong on some dogs, but I try to make a best guess.

Two growling German Shepard's distract some hunters.

Black villain dog - kills distracted hunters - This is the best dog in the film other than coconut. I think it is a trained wolf.

Max the Bull dog is locked in really small China made dog kennel barking repeatedly.

5 puppies (puppies of Max) - one nips kid.

Shep - old deaf hero dog - Does not do anything heroic but owned by hero character.

Coconut - trembling little terrier - The cutest dog in this movie

Bear - angry dog blocks car and growls

Unseen barking dogs in trailer

Animal control officer killed by dog (neck bite)

Unknown large vicious dog - attacks hot blond teen (Pia) then gets killed by exactly 17 hunting knife stabs, from Shep's owner(Roslyn). Yes - I counted. Hot blond injured badly but survives with many wounds.

Zorro - white police dog attacks cop

Bobby - knocks kid off of bike - snarls at kid who is on the ground.

Seeing eye dog suddenly drags owner in front of car whose driver is rubbernecking the fallen kid incident. Blind man is injured but rescuers gather to help him.

Black dog attacks another crowd member (leg bite)

Dalmatian attacks fireman in same crowd (jumps on back)

Unknown dog snarls and panicked crowd scatters

Shepard and another large black dog chase down Alice (who abandons her two friends because they are to slow - Roslyn is helping injured Pia). Suddenly a large red dog intercepts Alice and takes her down. Black dog joins red dog and they both kill Alice. The German shepherd is missing from feeding frenzy for unknown reasons (maybe he wagged tail). Alice is completely ripped to pieces.

Tiny dog (3-5 pounds), Coconut nips owner (mr Robinson) and yaps at owner, distracting him while Max breaks out of poorly constructed training kennel. Max the bull dog violently then attacks Coconuts owner, who crawls away slowly calling for his own dog to get to the safety of the house.


Black menacing dog tries to attack the 2 girls (Roslyn and PIA)who are hiding in an car wreck. They realize that the back window is open. Dog tries to gain entry threw the window but is repelled by Rosyln hitting it in the face with baseball bat exactly 16 times.

Same dog jumps on roof and reappears in window again. Takes 7 more hits from baseball bat then finally killed with exactly 9 stabs from hunting knife by Roslyn. - During this fight Pia quietly dies due to injuries from original attack. (pretty good death scene)

Large black dog and large red dog passes Rosyln who is hiding in a tree.third beige/orange dog almost detects her, but the pack all move away. Shep stays quiet and watches - Sheps looks really cute in this shot.

Rosyln comes across Alice's dismembered body and then a golden lab and another unknown dog start chasing her down. Rosyln picks up Shep and they make it back to her pickup truck and drive off

She calls police station using huge cell phone. In police station dead police officer is dragged offscreen by unknown dog while phone rings unanswered.

Six snarling dogs shown in news cast and then a pack of 10 dogs and anthor shot of 6 more running dogs

Ominous dog in front yard while young girl calls for her dog Max.

Two dogs chase the little girl who hides in Max's kennel in front yard. Mom shows up and is attacked by 3 dogs, while kid makes a break for the house. Mom get loose from the attacking dogs and runs back to house also.

Two dogs break threw the window and mom and little girl hide in other room.

Seeing eye dog plus 2 other dogs attack mom.

Max claws against locked room door while mom and small girl jump out window.

Rosyln shows up at workplace where some guy has gone mental from the dog attacks and he has been shooting lots of dogs. He threatens Shep (who was barking), and then kills himself by eating the end of his shotgun after Rosyln escapes with Shep.

Four dogs attack dad's work place.

Mom enters neighbours house and finds Coconut feeding on his owners body. - This is was my favorite scene.

Mom hits Coconut with lamp , killing the tiny dog (presumably)- no body visible.

Pack of rampaging dogs shown killing people on street in town, while survivors watch from indoors. 3 people killed and the pack of dogs begin to feed on their bodies for a short time. Then the pack moves away. A stupid pregnant woman stumbles down the bloodstained road and starts loudly yelling for help .

Rosyln and her father find Pia's mother (Liz) crying in her car. Her 2 Maltese dogs suddenly bite her face and they pull the injured woman into their pickup truck. The Maltese dogs are left alive in the other car as they retreat.

A stupid guy (Steve) decides he wants to wander around on the street and leaves the saftey of indoors, against the advice of his friend.

He encounters a large dog and decides to pull a switchblade on the dog. He taunts the dog , which then attacks and takes down Steve. His friend comes to the rescue and kicks attacking dog who whimpers and retreats. Friend guy checks his friend for injuries and scolds him at the same time. Three large dogs slowly surround the two. The dogs attack simultaneously and kill both of them.

Liz is badly injured from the Maltese bite to the face , but she is worried about her dogs. She gets out of the car to rescue her 2 Maltese dogs

The sneaky black villain dog traps stupid pregnant woman in a telephone booth. Interesting dog POv shot as he attacks booth. Dog retreats and then sneaks back and manages to grab stupid pregnant woman. Pay phone was missing 2 side window panels so black villain dog gains entry. Woman presumed dead from amount of blood splatter after neck bite.

3 dogs chase down and attack another woman on the street while 3 more dogs take down another person nearby. Rosyln decides to follow Liz who is hellbent on retrieving her 2 Maltese. They take cover under a parked car because the dog attacks and Roslyn's father follows them with a rifle. They watch the dogs attack and maul more people from under the car.

The Maltese dogs show up and somehow grab Liz by the face and drag her offscreen. Roslyn's father is missing . Maybe attacked and killed or forgotten by screenwriters.

Roslyn's step mom stops at an intersection and decides which way to go. Interesting shot of car wheel turning left as she decides to try to make it to town in order to meet up with rest of family.

Panicked car driver crushes roslyns father legs between her car and a parked car (I think it is the dad)

Stray bullet hits another car which blows up (possible real explosion - non cgi I think - pretty good quality car explosion shot.)

Rosyn finds dad pinned between cars. Mom shows up as well and they struggle badly to roll the car back. Possible subtle asylum humor because the car was still in drive and the 2 woman did not bother moving it to neutral which would of made this a much easier task.

Dad is freed and mom starts complaining about Shep. Rosyln refuses to abandon her dog and they all drive away towards airfield.

Director creates semi-epic dog pack using cool music and dog shadows along with 22 dogs (some double shot)

They encounter a huge group of sleeping dogs (probably props) as they drive to the air strip. They pass by quietly and make it to a small plane. (Maybe a Cessna)

Large dog runs into prop and gets killed. Blood splatter covers windshield of plane.

A huge herd of cgi dogs chases the plane down the runway.

There is one more dog once incident left, but I will omit it from my write up so that you can reward yourself with the ending.

I enjoyed watching the movie and I though almost all of the dog attacks were well done from a technical point of view. There was not a single inappropriate wagging tail or happy looking dog, which is quite a feat when dealing with this many dogs. I think the editor did a really good job keeping the dogs looking menacing and mean. Tiny Coconut was my favorite dog in this movie. I am pretty sure the 2 Maltese dogs were not listening to any trainer, but they held up very nicely for such low IQ dogs. The wolf dog provided the best performance.

My own dog (Shih Tzu) sat in front of the TV and carefully watched the first 10 minutes of the movie with me, before she fell asleep.

I hope these dogs are treated well and that they live in homes and are treated well.
