Possible Pregnancy S2?

Not sure how the sterilisation shot works, and how quickly, but technically Michele could already be on her way to being preggers after her night with Fernando. That would be an interesting twist for season 2!

Also, I usually hate dubbed shows, and much prefer subtitles, but this was so awesome it still worked. I think that's a pretty huge credit to the voice actors who did the dubbing, it would've been a massively hard gig.

I disagree about the dubs as I thought they were horrible and the subs were much better, but I agree that the possibility is strong that Michele is pregnant with Fernando's child. The fact that she would be the only pregnant woman on the Offshore would make for a compelling story. Would she and Fernando reunite? Will Michele have to choose between living on the Offshore and finding her brother or being with Fernando and her child in the Inland?

I'd prefer to see Michele and Rafael get together, the dynamic between someone who is still fighting for the Cause and someone who has apparently just had their world destroyed by them would be interesting. There's definitely a lot of chemistry between them already, and Fernando was way too wimpy for her. Rafael has mentioned so many times how much he wants to be a father, so that side of it would work.

I disagree with the dubbing, I got used to it after a while. Subtitles would have been better, but I just kept thinking how hard it would be as an actor to just use your voice and try to match someone else's acting. That's a pretty big call.

Would be hard to believe no other candidate had rocked up pregnant (they let a bunch of horny 20 year olds share accommodation for weeks) and they'd have a way to deal with that. Unless Michele can conceal it somehow.

Dubbing as a concept is pretty bad and I didn't even know it was an option. But I'm British and I've heard a theory that Europeans are generally better with subtitles because we're exposed to so many languages so don't mind subtitles (as opposed to Americans). I adore people speaking fluently in other languages so it was great to watch this show (particularly when subtitles help you understand them!)

And as someone else mentioned, you pick up words and phrases in other lanauges. I now can throw about a few words in Portugese.

I thought about that too, as they'd mentioned that Process romances were really common. I would assume there would be some sort screening where any preganacies are detected and aborted, but Michele is quite possibly the only candidate to be going straight to the recovery centre instead of the standard Offshore, so there's a possible avenue there where it might go undetected.

Re: the subtitles/ dubbing though, I know what you mean, being Aussie we have a similar way with language to the Brits (obviously). I use TV to relax though, and I can only relax when I'm doing lots of things at once. So I'll be playing on the iPad, doing a puzzle, and watching a show. That's why I find the dubbing easier :)
