Canadian sugar

It is occupied Belgium in 1944. How did a clearly labeled and largely unused 50 pound bag of Canadian Redpath sugar from Montreal end up in the house. You might also question women trotting about rural areas of occupied, wartime Belgium wearing high fashion clothing and perfect makeup.
And since this was a Canadian produced and Canadian tax subsidized moviem why was it about American soldiers rather than Canadian ones?

Clearly you did not pay attention to the movie or did you even really watch it?

The supplies inside the Mayor's Home was from the Allies. The city Wereth (where this story takes place) had been liberated by Allied forces and then retaken by the Germans on the first day of the Battle of the Bulge. The Canadians were a part of the Allied forces and they did supply sugar to liberated townships. You need to go and look up photos from the German and Belgium townships and villages in 1944. Women who had money, land and power did take care of themselves until the bitter end.

And finally if you're so concerned about historical correctness then I'm assuming you HATED Tarentino's Inglorious Bastards where they women looked amazing and they killed HITLER.

But again, you must be someone who needs to prove how clever he is figuring out the flaws in period pieces. So kudos to you...
