Where Was Courtney's Family?

I would think Emma's mom would have contacted Courtney's family right away to see if Emma was at their house. Seems strange that no one appeared to be looking for Courtney. These quickly thrown together Lifetime summer movies have plot holes a mile wide!

The cops knew about Courtney. When the lady (that works for group that finds traffickers) called the cops (when Emma's mom went to the hotel room where Courtney was) she told them that Katherine had Courtney and then she told them that courtney had been missing for 48 hours. So the cops knew who Courtney was.

Thanks! Not sure how I missed all that!

Have you heard about the Ohio case where those three women were holed up with that psycho for years? Out of the three, one of them had NO ONE looking for her. People convinced her mother that she'd simply run away (really, she just would have left her little boy???) and so her mother gave up searching for her. So while the other two women returned to their family, she had no one. Her son had been put in the foster care system and eventually adopted out to a family who raised him and wouldn't even let her meet him.

So, it happens.

Yes, that was Michelle Knight, and a horribly sad situation for her. As I understand it, after she was rescued, the people who adopted her son wouldn't let them reunite, making her situation even more tragic.

Why no credit,??? I love her from Criminal Intent.....

When Emma's mother dropped Emma off at the mall, she got out of the car and introduced herself to Courtney which indicates to me that she was meeting Courtney for the first time that day. If she didn't know Courtney, she wouldn't know her family in order to call.

I would expect an (over)protective mother like Katherine would insist on knowing the last names, parents, phone numbers, etc., of anyone her daughter hung out with... boy or girl.

I haven't seen Cynthia Watros since her stint on Guiding Light. Still beautiful and compelling.
