1A (first 15 episodes) started off poorly but the buildup to Showtime was actually worth watching.
I caught 1B (the second half of Season 1; all 15 episodes set to air in September on Disney Channel) and I have to say it was disappointing after the great mid-season finale. I can see why they're adding so many new characters next season.
How the hell did you managed to catch all 15 episodes of the second half of the season already before they could even air out on both Disney or the Family channel in Canada?

shareI got caught up to Episode 28 and I have NO idea what the OP is talking about. Underwhelming? Were we watching two different shows? I found the second half to be juicer and way more interesting than the first. The first was kind of boring-ish, but in a way to build up everything and everyone and by let's say the 6th-8th episodes did it really start to pick up. But the second half was completely awesome with the whole rap dance crew thing, Julie's sneaky tactics to dance and pass her PSATs, Austin's manipulation, Julie's obsession over Sasha and trying to sabotage his friendship with Carly and Vanessa, Kit and her sister struggling over knowing about their parental backgrounds, like come on who can this not interesting some one?

I posted this back when Disney Channel only aired 15 episodes. I was able to catch most of the second half online because Disney Channel Spain aired them all before anyone else, I believe. Note that I only watched parts of the episodes because I was eager to see what was gonna happen t the end.
I was definitely wrong, haha. I think it was because Showtime was such a good episode/climax for me that my expectations were risen.
Anyway, there's like seven new characters next season... not sure how I feel about that.
Yeah me either since that will leave little time for the characters who are already on the show.
