Don't get why Ms. Maria was fired

I just watched the episode (no spoilers please for anything after episode 23) but I don't get why she was fired she didn't tell Julie to cheat, she did it on her own. It's like holding a person responsible for a robbery that someone else committed just cause they said they said how they did it in a film

I agree... she did nothing wrong.

That principal always seem to have a stick up his a$$ about something.

it was just contrived as hell

all she had to say was that she was telling a cautionary tale

she clearly wasn't encouraging cheating

instead they just stammer and say says "ya i said that"

typical tv show trope they just refuse to clarify the situation
