I give it 2/10. Poorly written, poorly acted

reply

I thought it was well done. Not a ground breaking horror film but one of the better Conjuring films.

It was pretty good, it helps to be brown, meaning coming from a Hispanic / Latin background. La Llorona is pretty much like the boogy man, you grow up scared of her. If this movie was the first time you're hearing of her, you won't care much.

reply

I agree. Growing up hearing about La Llorona made this a guilty pleasure. Really enjoyed it.

reply

It was nothing special (to put it moderately).
The only good thing about it was Raymond Cruz' great acting.

reply

I saw it on Sky Premiere daytime yesterday. It's a watchable ghost story. Children being hurled or dragged across a room is becoming so cliched now. But there was enough interest for me. Father Perez is my favourite character.

reply

Just watched it. I think it was pretty good.

reply

maybe i should finally see this crap-fest. being on lockdown and all..

reply

LMAO. TBH, I watched it in the same week as The Grudge (2020). Which was suuuper terrible. So I think I kinda compare and was a bit too generous to this movie. But I think it was good haha.

WATCHED IT WITH THE WIFE LAST MONTH...I AM NOW REALIZING I DONT REMEMBER A DAMN THING ABOUT IT..THAT CANT BE A GOOD SIGN.
