The nonsense didn't detract at all from the enjoyment of the film, but honestly, there was no discernible plot - just a string of set pieces. It worked, but let's be honest here.

shareI’d say not. Especially as the names of two important bad guys have confusingly similar names (Lark and Lane). To understand fully I’d think most people would have to watch it a second time shortly after the first go through, watch it in DVD or streaming and rewind occasionally or refer to a plot synopsis as you are going along.
shareI think you are supposed not to think too much about it, because you will see how contrived it is. Also you have to ignore some stupid actions by the characters.
