plot hole (spoilers)

Why would Solomon Lane want to be at the location of the detonation, it would be suicide.

hardly a "plot hole" - Lane's a true believer, not a profiteer. After three years of waterboarding, I can easily believe he'd like to end it all with a bang. The white flash would mean his life's mission is accomplished.

I see only one negative, and it's the opposite of a plot hole - Hendricks (the "Ghost Protocol" villain) thought the exact same way as Lane (and was likewise willing to die to accomplish his goal). It makes Lane's choice credible within the films' universe, but also makes Lane a bit redundant in light of Hendricks.

Thanks for pointing out that plot holes are not every single discrepancy or criticism that someone might bring up about a movie.
