What happened with White Widow?

Appeared to have left her character hanging with no clear resolution after seeming to be all gaga for Hunt. I kept expecting her to break out at the end and try to assassinate Ilsa.

My guess is that with the bizarre love triangle weirdness already with Ilsa and Julia that they just decided to axe the part she was supposed to appear in so as to not overly complicate things.

She was suppose to be in the last act, and was cut. There was a girlfight at the end with Ilsa and was dropped. They reworked the script when Cruise was injured. Chris M talks alot about on Empire podcast.

Thanks! I'll check it out.

She is simply hot.

As another post mentioned, her appearance towards the end was axed in favour of a smaller moment.

On the plus side, she did contribute towards giving Tom Cruise the most love interests (3!) he's ever had in a "Mission Impossible" film.

She's not Ethan's love interest. Pretty much one sided.

He must have got hard when she kissed him at least...I would have.

They ended things where they should have with her character in this film, if you ask me. I would like to see her return to the series.

Agreed ... I wouldn't want to see her as a villain they have to fight. She's Max's daughter - it's more consistent with the franchise to have her as a shady ally.

I especially liked her amused expression throughout the first half - I like to think recognized Hunt immediately, and thinks it's hilarious that he's pretending to be "John Lark" (just like Hunt pretended to be "Job" in the first film).
