One thing that annoyed me (SPOILERS)...

... was how everyone kept insisting that it was Ethan's fault that the bad guys had the plutonium - that he made the (wrong) choice of saving his friend instead of recovering the nuclear material. That is simply not what happened! He already had the plutonium, AND he decided to save his friend as well. Of course in hindsight he should have been more careful, but it's not like he told the bad guys "OK, take the plutonium, just don't kill my friend".

He could've run off with the plutonium and left Luther to die.

The plutonium only got stolen because he tried to save Luther.

What's more, the Apostles most likely have Ethan, Luther and Benji's faces tattooed on the inside of their eyelids by now (Brandt, too, presumably). So they knew who they were dealing with, and they'd know Ethan would save Luther over the plutonium.

So it really was Ethan's fault. And as both Hunley and ultimately Sloan came to understand, that was a strength, not a weakness.
