What actors would you like to see join the franchise

Richard Armitage - Would be a good villain or agency boss

James McAvoy - My main pick to be the main antagonist for the next one

Damian Lewis - Would be a good villain

Dan Stevens - Could see him play Ilsa Faust’s former partner who teams up with Hunt, Faust and the rest of the team.

John Boyega - Would be a good addition to the team

Alicia Vikander - would be good as an agent or possibly an antagonist

Dylan O’Brien - Would be good as an apprentice to Hunt, we haven’t really seen a dynamic between Hunt and a newly trained agent, apart from Keri Russell in MI3, but that was brief. O’Brien has been in the spy word before in “American assassin” which was all right, but he did a good job, he was also good in Maze Runner (the first) and Deepwater Horizon, so he’s far better than Lautner ha ha

Anthony Mackie - Heard he was considered for MI4 before Renner signed but he’d be a good addition to Hunt’s team.

Karen Gillian - Could see her as a villain

Idris Elba - Villain

Carrot Top - his props would rival the IMF gadgets.

I strongly second James McAvoy. Whether he plays a villain or an ally of Hunt, I’d love to see him in this franchise regardless. I also agree with Anthony Mackie.

Brad Pitt - Going face to face with Cruise again... man, it’s gotta happen

Lewis Tan - this guy is ideal for spy/action films like this. He’s got the looks, martial arts background, and acting talent that would make him perfectly suitable for a MI film. Villain or an ally.

Sebastian Stan - badass. Can see him as either a good or bad character

Boyd Holbrook - another perfect actor for this franchise no matter the role

Hayley Atwell - nuff said

Dave Bautista - as a villain or new member of Hunt’s team

Tye Sheridan - as far as younger actors go, he’d easily be my pick

Kiefer Sutherland - need I say more?

Henry Golding - can definitely see him as a suave, cunning and yet sadistic villain

Sean Penn - love the thought of him as an enemy of Cruise’s Hunt. Would like to see him with Cruise, period

Gina Carano - In addition to her sexy, intimidating looks and fighting skills, she has a great screen presence

Rosa Salazar - an ass kicking colleague of Hunt

Some unpopular picks there, aye? Cool. :) And I just know that Mr. John Wick - aka Keanu Reeves - facing off against Cruise in an action film, be it Mission Impossible or not, NEEDS to happen.

Pitt's out - reportedly disciplinarian Cruise couldn't stand Pitt's lax, carefree attitude on that vampire flick

Pitt funnily enough said that filming Interview with the Vampire was a miserable time for him, although last I remember he didn’t mention or imply that Tom had anything to do with it. For Tom, Pitt very well might’ve been a pain to work with. But that said, this was decades ago.

The two of them looked happy together at a movie premiere and awards show some years later. Knowing how the situation can be different behind the scenes though, it’s possible Tom remains reluctant to work with Pitt again. Apparently they’ve always been on good terms, but it'd be nice to see them share the screen again either way.

Jason Statham
The Rock

They need to be in every non-superhero action franchise movies.

I'd like to see Cruise work more often with some of the talented actors he's gelled well with in the past.

It's always been a treat to see him reunite with co-stars like Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Cameron Diaz and Timothy Spall, to name a few.

Liam Neeson

Robert Downey Jr. could be a villain disguised as an ally but latter really turns out to be a good guy.
That way he would be again the dude who played a dude disguised as another dude or something like that 😂

But I’d definitely love to see RDJ In a Mission Impossible Movie.
