Is there a Season 2...

I really enjoyed the 6 episodes of the show. I had also seen the TV movies from the beginning. So I was just wondering if they plan on doing any more of this quirky series.
Jack Irish...I like him. As clanky, and bumbling as he may be I like the way he handles himself. Takes a beating and still wants more.
Plus getting on with the women in his life is always a bit dodgy. But he maintains the cool. Bit bummed on the final episode but still a good ending. Hopefully this will return.
I see Guy Pearce is doing another series in 2017, that might be a clue as to wheather the "Jack Irish" series is laid to rest. Hope not.
