What 11-year-old child would actually say this? I thought the pilot had some laughs but television shows never know how to write parts for kids.

They were really trying hard for the 'out there' comedy. It was a bit much hearing a kid say that. But the rest of their dialog felt natural.

Little Miss Sunshine had some parts which would make some people squirm and complain too. I love that movie.

You'd be amazed at how advanced kids are these days! My 9 yr old niece would say something like that probably! I swear she's already a teenager at this age! Sweet, but sometimes the biggest brat!
