All that I've actually seen was adults openly and graphically discussing their sexlives and drug use in front of very small children. Even the previews and commercials turn my stomach.
How about trying harder to write FAMILY shows...you know shows that the entire family can watch together? We used to place priority on the family unit.
Maybe we should get back to that place.

shareAgreed. There's nothing funny about teaching this kind of dysfunctional family dynamic... is this what we should be teaching our children? It's completely irresponsible and reckless. Samantha Bee and her husband Jason Jones (star of the show) are the creators of the show, which is a disappointment, considering they have 3 kids. This show is in very poor taste indeed.

You know, pretty much every show on HBO, Starz, Amazon, Netflix (to a degree), FX, FXX, AMC, and many more channels are NOT meant as family entertainment.
Now, ABC, NBC, CBS, Disney, Nick, and others, DO produce shows for the whole family to watch.
TBS is only recently developing original content but The Detour quite obviously is not for children. So either watch it without them, not at all, or together switch the channel to something else.
