SPOILERS Story flaws - hence only a decent movie

1) What was the mother thinking? that her younger son will never find out that the older son's book has his story? what did she expect to happen then?
2) Older bro didn't ask his Mom, hey where did you get this story? just OK thank you?
3) The older bro never discussed the upcoming book or the story with younger bro? or that hey you know Mom gave me this story which is awesome...no
4) Father parks the car right in the same bungalow where he is cheating...in a small town...where everyone would know...hmm
5) Mother opens sons laptop, of course no password needed, and the boyfriend just like "hey here are some photos"...no whats up, hows your day going, nothing.
6) Alia Bhatt never goes back to wherever...she is permanent in this hill town now

One more...since the older bro never knew that the story was lifted...he had no reason to sneak into his brothers room to drop off the second story...he could just have walked up to him. But then how would the audience be fooled.
