Why did nick kill himself

He was not really guilty his dad was. So why did he kill him self. He could have told the cops that it was his dad.

I don't know, it didn't make any sense and neither did Nick's dad's motives for kidnapping and killing the two girls.

Why with T.V. and all I keep in touch with everything.

They did explain the motive when Chief Patterson was talking to Don Ryder's sister near the end of the movie. When Don was a kid, his dad was locked up for assaulting some underage girls. Don blamed the girls, thinking they were lying, and just never got over it. So, now pretty young cheerleaders are his target. He also blamed the curse for drawing him to town, so he's kinda crazy.

But there are lots of movies where the killer really has no motive. Sometimes, they just show up and start killing because they feel like it at the time. Final Exam is a prime example.

It didn't make much sense, but at one point he told her that he's the one who is cursed. So I guess he truly believed it, and killed himself to end the curse.

Please put Spoilers in the subject, not the spoiler itself. Or use the Spoiler feature above the body of your message.

It's so easy and some people come here to see if others liked the movie.

I don't think he could live with the fact that his dad was a murder or that his murdering father framed him. He thought he was cursed and there was no way out.

reply

What was the curse and why. So confused

reply

I think the curse was metaphorical. At the beginning of the movie, Ellie's voiceover explains how teens keep dying in their town, as if there's a curse. Nick just can't deal with the pain and reality of the situation.
