If like the book, inaccurate. Zelda was out of her gourd
Once Scott's career took off she began a manic life that descended into true madness. Trying to become a prima ballerina in her late twenties, she fell into a series of nervous breakdowns which drove her insane. She tried to throw herself down a flight of stairs, and even grabbed the wheel while they were driving on the Riviera and tried to drive them off a cliff. Scott dealt with her care the best he could and took a lot of sh-t from her sisters who blamed him for everything, but she was just effing bonkers.
The book soft-pedals Zelda as a basically rational woman trying to deal with her husband's deficiencies and falling apart because of it, but it's a false portrait. Zelda was the original trainwreck.
