i'm going with the theory that bobo was lying
what reason would he have to lie you ask? to quote margot robbie/harley quinn from suicide squad:

You have a point- it is what they do. Interesting. But then my brain wonders what that black goop was and why did she get "rev-like eyes"? I hope it's renewed so we can find out!

(And the gun- do we think she drew it on Wynonna or something/someone behind Wynonna? Hurry up and renew, create and air new eps!)

If renewed, (and it better be, lol) my guess is, as she pointed the gun,Doc (the fastest gun in the west) shoots it out of her hand before she has time to do any harm with it....

i think they're gonna make be in willa's head
a vision/dream that she of course doesn't tell anyone about
& tries to figure out to fix herself alone until it all boils over

That's how I see it too. Especially considering we've seen him pull that move on Wynonna before. Tbh, the angle and distance are all wrong for that but I'm sure that's where they are going.

I was not happy with the way things ended. Waverly not being an Earp and going evil last minute was kind of lame. So happy we are getting a season two.

I hope they hash those 2 developments out as red herrings and things go back to the way they should! Waverly is such a beloved character- they better not mess with her!!!!!

Who befriended her as a child? Who made no secret of how much he admired and respected her even while putting the frighteners on? Who protected her several times, including from Willa by hiding her?
Bobo was her father; or at least an ancestor.
