Probably spoilers about her teacher

If someone was really deathly allergic to something, enough to have to carry an epi-pen, they'd have something like twenty all over the house. I have just plain allergies that I do immunotherapy for, and I have at least five around in my home, and that's not counting the two in my purse and the one in my work satchel. That whole bit was completely unrealistic; furthermore, I teach uni level, and she's a primary school teacher, but I also doubt anyone with any training at all would have let a lone student into their home when they were alone. It doesn't matter about the gender of the student, or what's going on, showing up at a teacher's home is weird behaviour; the teacher would have kept her out on the front porch, and might have still phoned a neighbour or something to be a third party present. There's just too much crazy crap going on these days to expose oneself to weird allegations from the student. And no, I'm hardly blowing it out of proportion, ask a teacher at any level, and if it hasn't happened to them personally, it's happened to someone they know.

In short, a totally dumb set of events.

Exactly
Take hand that rock the Cradle where main character Claire has asthma but inhalers all through her house. and to add you can smell almond paste

LOL I was thinking the exact same thing

I agree about not having students in the home with it just being you and the student. All it would take is for someone to have seen it and reported the teacher and some kids do actually make up stories about a teacher doing something to them to get the teacher in trouble for whatever reason. It's definitely not all kids, I do know that many who have been hurt by teachers are not believed because there are many who lie.

My oldest daughter has a nut allergy. All our insurance will cover is one pack with two Epipen injectors in it. One for school, one for home/my purse. Not everyone has the financial means to afford $568.61 (the cheapest price using free coupon from Kroger Pharmacy on goodrx.com as of 4th June 2016), to keep spares around not covered by insurance no matter how much we may want to.

Great points, but this is a Lifetime movie. The characters aren't always that bright.

Don't eva let nobody tell you you ain't strong enough

those are ridiculously expensive even with prescriptions.

they expire relatively quickly.

they need a rx for each one. no refills available.

but this is the reason why pb[for example] shouldn't be in schools to begin with.

Oh God. Fortune vomits on my eiderdown once more.

Meh... not so far fetched. My Mom is in her 60's and is Allergic to Bees. She never carries one with her. It's in the Fridge.

Besides Sadie would've grabbed it away if she had one on her.
