No dropcloths on gorgeous floors?

Why in the world would you rip out the carpeting and leave the unblemished, gorgeous hardwood floors exposed to all the construction traffic during remodeling? Stupid! (Nashville episode) Then they didn't even put dropcloths down! When the camera panned around the room, they had power tools, planks of wood, etc. spread all over the exposed beautiful hardwood floor. Where do these dummies come from? Would love to know they're qualifications (any vocational schooling? Apprenticeship or journeyman training with REAL carpenters?) Don't even start me on the other stuff done incorrectly. Total hacks-we're done with this show.
