Terrence is NOT convincing

at portraying an alpha male with enough charisma to pull one night stands on super hot chicks at will.

I came to say the same thing. He was the weakest link. He just doesn't come off as a womanizer. He was grossly miscast.

It's not that he didn't do a good job. The problem is that, he's such a sweet natured guy in real life and in other movies, I had a hard time buying him as some sleazy womanizing dirtbag. He's the nice guy, not that jerk. He also has that babyface and he looks 15 years old. It was hard to believe at first, but about half-way through the movie I was able to forget how I was used to seeing him and started to see him as doing a good job. Like I said, it took a few minutes for him to grow on me in this part--he's a journalist, and usually speaks in his "anchor" voice. Now we're seeing him as a normal guy.

I would watch another movie with Terrence in the lead. But would like him as the nice guy trying to get the girl, not the one pushing girls away and mistreating them. This is a little like Boomerang.
