Movie series order

The new Batman and Justice League movies all take place in the same universe. Following them, you would usually go with the release date for a timeline. But I don't think that's accurate this time. If you go by release date order, the movies would be:

Justice League: War
Son of Batman
Batman: Assault On Arkham
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis
Batman vs. Robin
Batman: Bad Blood
Justice League vs. Teen Titans

However, if you think about it, once you throw Damian into the equation, that order doesn't make much sense. Batman is still going solo during Assault on Arkham, then is taking care of Damian during Son of Batman and Batman vs Robin. At the end of Batman vs Robin, Damian goes to stay with the monks, during which time Batman joins with the Justice League for War and Throne of Atlantis. Damian then comes back during Bad Blood, after which he too joins the Justice League and then the Teen Titans in Justice League vs Teen Titans. So the REAL timeline order goes:

Batman: Assault on Arkham
Son of Batman
Batman vs. Robin
Justice League: War
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis
Batman: Bad Blood
Justice League vs Teen Titans

Thanks! This really helps a lot.

Actually Assault on Arkham is not part of the main continuity. It is a standalone sit within the Arkham video game series' world.

There is also a deleted scene that is included on the video release of Throne of Atlantis that had Nightwing and Robin on a side mission for Batman going after Scarecrow.
So the release order is the correct order.

Justice League: War (Introduction to new continuity)
Son of Batman (Damian's introduction)
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (Next Justice League mission with a Robin/Nightwing scene)
Batman vs. Robin (Robin sent to live with monks at end)
Batman: Bad Blood (Robin back and a reference to Talon from BvR)
Justice League vs. Teen Titans (Intro of Teen Titans and Robin joining them and Cyborg sort of teaming up with them to while staying a member of JL)
