Characters Inconsistent & Unbelievable

Why is that Miguel with his middle class upbringing felt obliged to get involved with blood farming?
To be honest I wish I knew why Miguel loved Jonny to begin with? They showed no acts of affection outside of sex and they didn't even have the chemistry to make it believable.
Also Miguel and Jonny killing the actor? How was that in character at all? Neither had displayed any indication that they had the capacity to murder leading up to that point. Sure Jonny may be the supposed bad boy, but he was never shown to commit violent crimes, he never did hard drugs. Which reminds me, the drugs that they had shown him do did not justify all his crazy naked shenanigans.

To me it was apparent that the director was not pulling from real life people or experiences he had encountered and didn't do his due diligence to research these cultures before trying to imitate them. I wish the skate culture was studied more in depth, because it all it amounted to was a prop to segway into the next scene.
