I really liked this documentary since it wasn't a regular interview style doc. I'm surprised that it's rated as low as it is. My only issue with this movie is how the story about the younger brother killing the older brother made me feel like they were demonizing marijuana. Maybe demonize is too strong, but I felt like their focus on the younger brother's Ask.Fm responses that involved weed was frustrating. I grew up with Ask.Fm and Formspring although I was never bold enough to use them since most people allow anonymous people to ask.
Anyway, I'm sure that young boy responded to a lot of things that didn't concern marijuana at all. That was very disappointing.

The story about Kaitlin Austin was terrifying since the step brother sexually assaulted her. Still puzzled as to how a boy of his age was such a gun enthusiast. Geeeeeez.

A bit of the old ultraviolence...

Yeah the story about Kaitlin Austin really sickened me! That got to me the most, words can't even describe how that made me feel! I can't imagine how their parents feel knowing their son killed their daughter but I can imagine on top of that with him sexually assaulting her made it so much worse.

I'm from the UK and I know gun violence is bad in the US but I never knew it was actually that bad! I googled some statistics on gun fatalities in the UK and it says 39 in 2011/12. I know guns will probably never be banned in the US but I don't think it would be the worst idea if they did.
