This got swept under the rug with a lot of great foreign movies but man oh man do I want a copy of this embedded on my shelf. I'm almost willing to throw down money on a region free player just to get it but I just can't justify it. Why isn't there an American release of this masterpiece?

"Badla" (2019), an Indian remake in Hindi with English subtitles, is currently in American theaters that show Indian films.
I just watched it on Netflix and it is awesome.

I am the opposite - I stopped buying DVDs (back when that was the popular format) because at some point I realized that I actually very rarely watch anything more than once, but these collections of books /CDs /DVDs take up space in my apartment and collect dust. I actually never even bought a Blu-ray player or a single disc for that reason.
And the movie is on Netflix, why bother with anything on a shelf?
And if there is something you want to see, but Netflix doesn't carry the title, do you know that they have a function on their site for title requests? Chances are if enough people request it they'll get the license.
