Jakal's Cloaking

Lol everyone knew that scene was coming... anyway really not to nitpick as it works great in the games, and I know they are based of the predator, but really in the time the first Halo came out, Infra Red cameras were a common thing in the militray. It seems extremely unlikely that the mijolnir (sic?) armour would not be equipped with thermal cameras, which would reduce the threat of the disguise.
