This movie was AMAZING, and GORGEOUS!!!
I enjoyed every part of this movie. It was hilarious, beautiful, stressful, and it is already one of my favorite movies of the year, and I'm picky when it comes to movies. Not to mention the EDM was on point.
These IMDB wannabe reviewers clearly have no clue what they're talking about. I avoided this movie for like a month when I saw it being advertised on Netflix because I thought it was going to be stupid, and annoying like most movies that aim for younger people. I couldn't have been more wrong!
This movie was perfect, and I recommend it to EVERYONE who enjoys beautifully directed movies. Every single scene bursted with gorgeous colors (who ever directed this film must have been on drugs lol). Not to mention the music in EDM was perfect as always. I Fell in love with every single character as well, which most movies always fail to introduce great characters, but this one didn't. If I had to complain about someone it be the best friend/manager of the main charatcer. He was so stressful, but it was understandable since his character had a lot going on. He also annoyed me since most of his scene at XOXO involved him being stupid and hallucinating. Still enjoyed it though!!! No character felt out of place that's for sure.
Also there were so many unrealistic things, for sure like; if you're in the lineup for a festival?????, you bet your ass no one is going to be like "that name is not on the list" it doesn't work like that lmao, but then again it's a just a movie. Like any good movie it keeps you on your toes. XOXO is far from boring.
My favorite characters were the two couples that got on the party bus. I disliked the fact that they had the less screen time out of all the characters. They could have gotten 15-20 more minute of screen time. They were also the nicest, and got literaly Sh** on through out the movie.
PS: the beginning of XOXO is one of my favorite parts, it started with a bang and hooked me right away. Specially how the text messages poppoed out of the movie (literally the text messages were out of the actual screen wide movie, I thought that was super cool and I watched this on my 46inch HD LED TV, so it was fun). Never thought there was going to be a movie that would make me love it right away!
