Yeah a million times better. People are letting one element of the movie ruin it for them. BvS had so many issues from start to finish. When this movie started doing what it was meant to do it was awesome.
shareI don't think it's fair to compare them. one is an animated adaptation of an Alan Moore 80s era graphic novel in limited release and the other is a star studded, universe building, bloated mess of a summer blockbuster willing itself to solvency. As a summer superhero movie, BVS failed. As an 'artsy' graphic novel animated release, TKJ, broke even I guess. The Batgirl stuff damn near killed it for me. Honestly, this may not be my favorite Alan Moore or Batman story, though it is powerful.

It's a much better scripted and thought out story than BvS. BvS was just stuffed with too many half-baked ideas and just piss poorly written and directed.
Plus, in The Killing Joke, we've got both Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill AGAIN!!

Maybe about the same. KILLING JOKE is decent, but I always found the comic story line overrated anyway. It could have been better if the first half hour of new material was better connected with the rest of the story. Feels more like two episodes edited together.

In BvS you have Batman's stupid twin brother. Was more a Superman movie than a Batman (the world greatest detective) movie.

I would hold that the two Schumacher-directed Batman movies were worse. And there were the pair of chapter-serials from the 1940s.

Because that was my worst before I watched BvS.
Both I gave a 4/10.
And I only gave BvS a 4 because of the ending and Superman, otherwise it'd be a 2.
2 Batman points for trapping Superman.
Batman Forever is a 5/10 :)
However, since there seems to be a Justice League movie planned with this Batman, there's still hope for worse. xD
