Whimsical, Crazy Fun. What More Could You Want?

Soooo....why are people hating on this show??
I get that the pacing of each episode can get frantic at times, but that's exactly what makes the show so fun to watch. It's quirky, silly, and its got a narrator with an epic deep voice (fun fact: that voice is from the creator of the series. Each 11 minute episode and online short just wraps you up in a hectic frenzy of magical swords and heroic banter that works best in small doses. With all the nostalgic reboots and toy based spinoffs being spewed left and right nowadays, its really refreshing to receive something that doesn't try to please and just does its own thing. If you're sick of the new Powerpuff Girls reboot trying to cram modern trends and overdone tropes down your throat or the laid back, currently self aware and loopy Teen Titans Go! isn't your cup of tea, then this show is for you. I highly recommend it. This show may not be getting the recognition it deserves right now, but then again, it took nearly two or three years for viewers to fully recognize Steven Universe, so maybe Mighty Magiswords will get the attention it needs in due time..?
