Is this as boring as the Imitation Game ???

seems like it

I liked both. But if you thought Imitation Game was slow, Hidden Figures does move at a more brisk pace. I'd say it's more "mainstream-friendly" of the two.

no it isn't.

thank you

It's worst and more uninteresting

I think the Imitation Game was a better movie. If you didn't like the Imitation Game you might not like Hidden Figures. Anyway the feel and the story are a bit different. I think you should give it a try.

I enjoyed both, but I felt that Hidden Figures was more crowd pleasing, inspirational, you-go-girl of the two. Imitation Game was more somber in that the genius wasn't just quirky--he truly didn't fit in his time, and he suffered greatly for it.

Just curious, but it's been two months since the OP's post - did you get to see Hidden Figures, hownos?

reply

The boring movie is Loving....this was a landmark supreme court case and they botched the screenplay.

haven't manage to see it yet. been busy lately with a new job and my movie watching has nosedived. hope to get back to normal soon.

reply

No worries, just curious if you ever caught the movie. And congrats on the new job!

I watched this movie last night and I can't believe the negativity of the posts. What a shame. It was an inspirational story of three brilliant women who contributed to the space programs of the 1960s. How they eventually stood above the racism/sexism that existed in the 1960s and how they became famous enough to have a best selling book and movie made about them. Congratulations!
