I thought this movie was a blast. Frentic & suspenseful. One of my favorites of 2017.

Robert Pattinson’s Connie reminded me of Vincent Gallo’s Billy in Buffalo ‘66, and the movie itself made me think of the also kinetic crime thriller Victoria (2015).

Julia (2008) with Tilda Swinton is another excellent snowballing thriller in the same ballpark as Good Time. I also thought about Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead.

The Third Act Podcast likened it to Run Lola Run, which I thought was a good comparison. I’ve also seen it compared to Running Scared (2006).

What are some more similar movies?

Lowlife has a similar vibe. Very good crime thriller.

I thought of Victoria too.
The duo reminded me of Of mice and men, atleast at first.

Sorry I cant think of any similar films, but I looked up Julia and it looks really interesting. I loved Good Time so I'm going to give Julia a look.

I thought of the similarly named "Straight Time" with Dustin Hoffman and Harry Dean Stanton. If you see it, watch for a small part by a young Kathy Bates. M. Emmett Walsh plays his usual excellent sleazy bully part and Gary Busey is great... his little son, too. ("Introducing") Theresa Russell plays a low-rent knockout.

I'm sure you'll like it.

It definitely had some of the same characteristics that Uncut Gems had too (namely, it being very hectic and stress inducing)

'Uncut Gems", (even the deaf guy is in it) and to a lesser extent, a couple of Terry Gilliams films, "The Zero Theorem" and "Brazil".

Another anxiety ridden film that occurred to me was Antichrist.
