Cancelled???
I was watching Nickelodeon and they had a advertisement for the "Escape to Spice Island" episode and they said it was the "Final Episode". Did Nickelodeon cancel this? I'm so bummed if so, I just started getting into it.

The cast is amazing, I became friends with the girls who played Talia, Val and Debbie on Twitter. They are very sweet people who care about their fans!
I think Nickelodeon's mistake was to release a new episode every single weekday. They can't keep production up like that too much longer.
That's awesome! The cast seems really nice. I'm a huge fan of Liam's and think he's great.
But yeah, I agree with you guys and I reeeally hope it's not ending, but that commercial really made it seem like it was the last episode, ever. :( I hope we get some news from the cast soon.

They probably are ending it. The original series that this is based on "Toni, la Chef" also had a forty episode run and didn't continue on after that. If this show is a remake of that and each episodes are based on the ones of that show, then this is the end. Also, the fact that Nick has aired out forty episodes over the course of a few months also show this show was only going to be a limited run from the beginning.
shareDoes anyone know how the ratings for it were? I mean I get that, but I feel like if the ratings were really good I don't think Nickelodeon would be ending this I think they would have picked it up for more.
shareAlso Toni, la Chef didn't do that great in the ratings from what it looks like, they have yet to air 3 episodes of that show. :/ I hope we get some news from Nickelodeon soon atleast.
shareIt was cancelled in January Such a bummer – it looks like Nick’s Talia in the Kitchen has been cancelled.
Stars Maria Quezada, Joshua Hoffman, Miguel Luciano, and Liam Obergfoll all took to social media to say thanks to the fans.
“Here I am at Lola’s! After 40 awesome episodes of #taliainthekitchen and a great journey that we shared with all of you, I couldn’t ask for greater memories!” Maria wrote on Instagram. “Talia showed you and me to fight for our dreams no matter how many obstacles are in our way, to never give up, that it was okay to be original, and that we should embrace who we are and not change ourselves for anything or anyone. So thankful to have been part of this life-changing show.”
She continued, “@nickelodeontv I love you guys & I feel proud to be part of the orange team. Let’s be grateful towards @nickelodeontv for creating this exciting show. Talia Parra, thanks for challenging me to do things I never thought possible. Lil Miss Spice-A-lot, you definitely spiced up my life. If you ever feel scared to go after what you dream of just remember you have a piece of Talia with you in your heart wherever you go.”
