Being that this show is based in the Bay Area, do you think they will...

...eventually do an L.G.B.T. episode? That whole movement is so powerful now, it is only a matter of time until it reaches cartoons.

it is only a matter of time until it reaches cartoons.

It already has. A character in Clearance has lesbian parents. There was also a quick scene in one episode with a gay couple.

At the end of Legend of Korra, they imply that Korra and Asami are romantically involved.

Then there is Steven Universe, which depicts strong romantic feelings between female characters. (Technically, the Gems are genderless. But they all look like women and go by female terms like "she" and "her".)

As for We Bare Bears, they might show a gay couple, but I doubt an episode will focus on it.

reply

Yes because the cartoon will greatly benefit from mentioning sexuality and orientation. /sarcasm
How about we just let the cartoon exist as an escape from real life politics and agendas?

reply

Or they can just show people in their everyday lives which, surprise, includes LGBT people.

reply

I wouldn't be surprised, if it does happen. The world has gone down the drain.
