Julia Roberts in that GOD AWFUL wig.....

just atrocious.

reply

Very Anna Wintour. horrifying

reply

She does not look good with red hair.

reply

LOL. Every time I see the trailer, I think "there is no way I could sit through an entire movie with that wig in it". It really looks turrible & makes her look old & matronly.

Garry Marshall needs to give up on these holiday movies. Yuck.

reply

It is not Marshall's fault - he does what he does.

It is the studio who's teeth drip saliva, licking their chops, to bring in the female audiences, and their hard earned cash.

This is a business and Hollywood wants ours so they create this façade to build laughs and sobs... I truly do hope it works though.

reply

I won't be seeing it because of that wig. I can't even get throught the commercials for it.

reply

phew! i'm glad i'm not alone on this guys! lol.

reply

Even if it didn't look like a wig, what sane person would want a hairstyle reminiscent of a devil woman like Anna Wintour?!

Does her character want people to subconsciously despite her?

reply

I guess it's recycled from a fake movie scene in "Notting Hill" when she played an actress. I had to google it because I found the wig so hideous!

reply

That totally was the Pretty Woman hooker wig wasn't it?

reply

No, the hooker wig was blonde.

reply

But if I recall correctly, it was the same style.

reply

You do recall correctly. 😊

If Julia is too vain to cut her hair, then she should just use her real hair. It's not like she's so gorgeous that we couldn't buy into her being some boring old business woman or whatever. She used this same wig in Notting hill? and something similar in Pretty Woman and a really ugly, scraggly thing in Hook and another fake looking thing in Steel Magnolias, and it seems like I remember her wearing wigs and going undercover in Sleeping with the Enemy and in The Pelican Brief...and there are probably some more I either forgot or never knew about.

reply

It's supposed to be an in joke - same wig used when Anna Scott makes a space movie in Notting Hill. The weird thing is, I thought at the time she looked super cute. It looked more futuristic than matronly.
