Garbage

My wife made me watch this piece of garbage and do I mean garbage, not day old garbage but the kind of garbage you come back to after a weeks vacation when you forgot to put it to the curb garbage. I don’t even know where to begin it was so bad from start to finish. I really think it was written in a safe space at Berkeley.

The one thing that really bothered me was Having Kate Hudson’s parents being stereotypical white Texas racists . Of course its Hollywood so everyone who isn’t from NY or L.A. is a racist Homophobe, multiple gun owner with nothing more than an 8th grade education. The scene of Kates Hudson’s husband getting out of the RV was cringe inducing and of course her husband was an Indian Dr who gets mistaken for an African American and is told to get on the ground. That one scene is so beyond racist to not only African Americans but Indian Americans that the producers and writers should have to issue an apology (I’m no bleeding heart but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck). To think they actually thought that was funny. That’s some deep seeded racial issues the writers must have.

As for the cast;

Julia Roberts wig was the only funny part of the movie yet after ten seconds of seeing it, it went from funny to a feeling of pity and that was after reading how much she got paid. I know the big acting jobs aren’t knocking down her door anymore but doing this is like saying I give up. What’s next a reality show on Bravo or E, maybe an NBC sitcom, a CBS detective show, Dancing with the Stars, maybe a few Lifetime movies or hocking some crap jewelry or exercise equipment on HSN or QVC.

Jennifer Anistons career has been going downhill ever since the last episode of Friends and this movie just sped it up. No matter how good she looks she will still never be that incredible actress she thinks she is and her Agent tells her she is. Time to start pre-reading scripts before you are relegated to Adam Sandler movies and that only happens if Drew Barrymore is busy.

Kate Hudson I can only guess all your good roles are starting to go Blake Lively.

Jason Sudeikis you were one the e strongest people on SNL, made some really funny movies I’ll just assume you did this for the paycheck, maybe you wanted a vacation home in Hawaii or the Caribbean.

I would really like to know how anyone could watch this and be like “wow what a great movie so entertaining and heartwarming”. Not one redeeming quality.

"Having Kate Hudson’s parents being stereotypical white Texas racists..."

Sorry to break it to you "jeffg" but what they portrayed in a comedic manner is not far from the truth. Texas married couples over a certain age are mostly undereducated, white, and racist.

I didn't take the Indian being mistaken for a black guy when they told him to get on the ground. Pretty racist on your part.
