Eddies purgatory

Here is something that has not really been discussed here. Eddies after life. So I know maybe it should be on obvious but I am assuming Eddie was in his own little hell and punishment because of the kids he killed. The reason maybe why i am asking this is because in Eddies after life he seemed to have control to some degree of his environment and that it seemed one he created. If somebody had the power to manipulate their environment in the after life you would think they would not create something so horrible. Then again this is Eddie who's mind had become warped and maybe on one hand that's what he would prefer his after life to look like. Eddie also had the ability to come into our world disguised as the tooth monster and had his pal the skin taker. So on one hand he seemed to have some power in that existence. However he clearly does not want to stay there because at one point he tells Mike that he left him there in the last episode. And Eddie i am assuming cannot move on to a better place. What do people think about Eddies after life dimension? Also here is an interesting thought. Now that Mike is there with him and seems to have some powers of his own(he was able to temporarily show up and turn off the tv at the end) do you think he can change Eddies after life dimension? Also would Mike have the ability to move on to a better place( or back and forth) since Mike was not there as a punishment?
